Years of recording bands live for KFOG and mixing the performances for broadcast. One pass, no second takes, a band in a room and a deadline.
Sessions included Steve Earle, Matchbox Twenty, Florence + The Machine, Robert Cray, Shawn Colvin, The Shins, The Jayhawks, Thomas Dolby, The Fixx, The Struts and The Record Company.
I also mixed a live Death Cab for Cutie session captured by someone else.

MX-80 Sound — Better Than Life (Klanggalerie, 2023). Recorded and engineered at 25th Street Recording in Oakland, through the lockdown. Mixed by Steve Albini at Electrical Audio in Chicago. The band's final record.
